This is a relatively rare watch, a limited edition from Tissot - 3333 pieces in 1996, and the first COSC certified piece in their Heritage line. I have everything original to the watch - the wooden box (and Tissot shipping cover), Tissot certificate and instruction manual, COSC certificate, and warranty card. For some reason, the interior of the box has deteriorated over the past 17 years - the vinyl lining the box and cushions has cracked and pealed off in many places - I was considering refinishing the interior, but will leave that decision to the next owner.
Asking $1200.00 USD, shipped and insured to CONUS, includes PayPal fees
Purchased this 18 months ago, but never wore it. I am the second owner, looking to clear some pieces. Can provide WUS references.

Dear WIS, my Tissot Chrono(graph Chronometer) Janeiro is for sale.
A limited edition from 1996 which consisted of merely 3.333 watches: an in-house re-edition of Tissot's ??Brazilian military chronograph?? from the year 1935. Under a glass cover in the back there's a decorated Valjoux 7765 (=sans 12-o'clock counter) with hacking seconds. The dial is printed with utmost precision in almost a high relief and wonderfully busy. With the big dial aperture the watch has a strong presence despite the 37 mm diameter. Almost no wear marks, very pre-war.
State is splendid, 92% TZ-scale, but there are opening marks provided by a less skilled person. The rate displays a slight plus and thus indicates the watch indeed underwent a service at Tissot - previous owner assures this.
An additional indication for this is the fact that there are two important spare parts: an additional glass case back and an unworn original strap (besides the practically unworn mounted one). In its time the Janeiro must have been worn very, very rarely. The hesalite glass is almost unmarked.
There are no papers to prove the service, let alone a receipt or the chronometre certificate. The massive wooden box reputedly belongs to some other limited re-edition by Tissot.
Despite the brilliant state but lacking the documents I'm asking a moderate ???uro 850,- in form of a bank transfer. Shipment (regd. signed for) is included. Being the notorious flipper in this instance I'm absolutely not interested in any trades.
Cheers and thanks to our host for the advertising possibility
